Last February we took a little trip to Valle de Gu Last February we took a little trip to Valle de Guadalupe, hired someone to drive us around for a few hours and went wine tasting!

We talked about getting married at one of the wineries here, and there were so many gorgeous properties and vineyards to explore.

Charles is often pulling me out of my comfort zone with experiences, and this was no exception! We crossed the border on foot and it was definitely something I’ll never forget! 😅

We had scheduled a winery tour in advance for that morning, and our tour bus actually never showed up — but of course, off the beaten path was better, as always.

We got to experience a few hidden gems we wouldn’t have seen on the tour, and make our own choices of where to go/what to see! 🍷 🍇

At the end of it all, Charles took me to have the “Original Caesar Salad”, which was good.

He makes this at home for me though, and his is better! 🥗✨
Pinel Island: our favorite journey on the road les Pinel Island: our favorite journey on the road less traveled in Saint Marteen! 🦞 🌴 🤿

We went snorkeling, we ate lobster and we explored a tiny picturesque island on our trip to the Caribbean!

I still dream about it and how perfect this day was. ☀️

One of our favorite things to do is to go off the beaten path and create unique adventures where we can relax and play! If you’re ever in Saint Marteen, definitely make your way here and plan for at least a 1/2 day to disconnect.

Bonus: no cell reception. 🙏
Our first international traveling experience toget Our first international traveling experience together had its ups and downs, twists and turns! 😅

After landing in Puerto Vallarta, Charles took me to one of his favorite restaurants on the beach where we had Oysters and Spicy Margaritas— and then immediately after checking into our cute and trendy hotel in Zona Romántica, I became violently ill with food poisoning for 12 hours!

The epitome of romance for a new couple. 🥰

But this is when Charles really shined to me.

Not only did he speak fluent Spanish, but he was such a wonderful caretaker!

He lovingly fetched saltines and orange Gatorade while he nursed me back to health, and then we had the best trip ever.

Tequila tasting, ATVs, magical sunsets, tons of exploration and relaxation!

📸 Here are some of my favorite moments from that trip.

Hi! We’re so glad you made it here. 🥳 Ashley Hi! We’re so glad you made it here. 🥳

Ashley speaking: This was our first photo together in 2022! We met on a dating app called Hinge (Whole Foods) and after an hour long conversation, I went back to my friends while on a girl’s trip in Calistoga and confidently declared that I would marry Charles.

6 months later, we were engaged! 💍

We married in October of last year at the most gorgeous hillside chateau in Escondido, CA surrounded by our closest friends and family, enveloped in love and sweeping mountain views. Photos coming soon! 📸

We love to travel, cook and explore!

Charles is definitely the social butterfly between the two of us, and he’s an excellent chef. 🦋🍽️

I’m a bit more introverted and reserved, but I love to get out of my comfort zone, try new things and I’m a lover of all people! 💛

Charles is an avid reader, a beautiful writer and a complete goofball with a crass sense of humor. 📚💨🖊️

I enjoy planning and hosting parties/events, baking and spending time outdoors with Fillmore, the 7yo French Bulldog who owns us. 🍞🌴🐶

We’ll share our adventures, meals/recipes and family photos on this page and I’ll probably write long winded philosophical captions to accompany them.

We’re excited to stay connected with you here. We love you so much!

With Exponential Joy,
The Erdeis
